The Jim Henson Legacy is a non-profit organization founded by Jane Henson, whose mission is to celebrate and preserve the work of Jim Henson.

Atlanta’s Center for Puppetry Arts has a permanent Jim Henson gallery, including Omar from Sam and Friends.

The company that Jim and Jane Henson began during Sam and Friends is now known as The Jim Henson Company and is owned and run by their children. The company was incredibly supportive of this project and provided the archival materials used in the book and on this website.
